Route a Rhea County Request
For Rhea County Jail custody, booking, jail-record, or sheriff report questions, start with the Rhea County Sheriff’s Department. Its official contact page lists the jail at 7800 Rhea County Highway, Dayton, TN 37321. Administrative and records numbers are 423-775-7832, 423-775-7837, and 423-775-7838. Use extension 1 for administration and extension 2 for the jail. The office lists Monday through Friday hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays.
- For a current inmate or county booking, use the official Rhea County inmate-information page, then confirm the live result or photo availability with the jail because the vendor interface was not stable during research.
- For a sheriff report, state the date, time, officer, and request-card information if known. The listed fees are $5 for a regular incident report and $2 for a one-page incident or arrest form.
- For a Dayton, Spring City, or Graysville incident report, contact the originating city police department. The sheriff states that it does not hold those municipal police reports.
- For a court result, use the local clerk or the Tennessee courts clerk directory. A booking entry does not establish the later disposition.
- For a person in state prison, on TDOC supervision, or formerly in TDOC custody, use the official TDOC Felony Offender Information Lookup. It is not a Rhea County pretrial roster.
